Hot stone massage is a variation of massage that uses hot basalt stones which is a volcanic rock that retains heat. The stones come in various shapes and sizes to perform different massage techniques, either placed on certain parts of the body or used as tools for the therapist giving the client a unique and deep relaxation experience.
WHO IS THIS COURSE FOR?
You must hold a recognised body massage qualification to take this course. You will need to know the complete body massage basics to hold and perform further skills & techniques whilst using the hot stones. This course can lead to further adaptations of body treatments and can be incorporated into facials, Indian head massage & reflexology. It’s a fantastic way to alleviate stress and tension in your hands and wrists as a therapist by adding and using tools into your treatments.

QUALIFICATION
After your practical session you must complete a case study at home in your own time.
You will need to submit evidence work of a completed consultation form & aftercare advice and upload short videos of you demonstrating the hot stone techniques that you were taught during your practical in-house session.
Once your tutor is satisfied with the content you will be issued an accredited Healing Hands certificate which will allow you to get insurance and carry out treatments on the public. If you choose the ABT as your insurance provider, then you will receive a 10% discount code.
