Classroom Courses in Person

BEFORE THE DAY

  • You must complete your prior learning training manuals before your in-house practical training day.

  • This will be sent through via our online learning portal.

ON THE DAY

  • Courses will have a maximum of 4 students.

  • Our courses contain a variety of assessment methods.

  • You will have a maximum time length of 6 months to complete your case studies.

  • Progress reports will be sent to your educators so they can track your training. 

DO I GET A CERTIFICATE?

  • Certificates will only be issued once the learner has completed BOTH their practical and online training & assessments.

  • Some courses require further cases studies before a certificate can be issued.

WHAT ABOUT INSURANCE?

  • Insurance cover is not provided as part of any course option. It is the responsibility of the learner to arrange such cover before beginning to accept payments for services offered.

  • No responsibility is accepted by Healing Hands Academy for learners not being insured.

  • As all our courses are accredited by the ABT, a 10% discount code is applied at checkout if you choose them as your insurance provider.

DO I NEED TO BRING MODELS?

  • You are welcome to bring your own models if you wish or we can provide them for you.
    In some courses we prefer the students to work on each other, therefore you must be willing to give and receive treatment.

GETTING HERE

  • There is plenty of parking at our Academy location, easy access to bus and train routes.

FOOD & DRINK?

  • Refreshments are provided throughout the day hot drinks and water.

  • Lunch must be brought with you - we do have a kitchen, but it does not include an oven or microwave.

  • Toilet facilities are available on site.

Online courses

WHAT DO I NEED?

  • Learning is completed solely online via our learning portal - you will need a computer and internet connection.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

  • Learners self-navigate through the learning material before submitting case study / evidence of work to be assessed.

DO I HAVE A TUTOR?

  • There is no specific tutor support for this option.

HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO COMPLETE THE COURSE?

Access to the learning portal is valid for 6 months from the point of enrolment.

Cancellation Policy

This policy is not long or complicated - we don’t have many rules but of the rules we do have - they are important so please take minute to read and understand.

  • Full payment is required at the time of purchase.

  • Course payments are non-refundable

  • Courses are non-transferable.

  • If you fail to attend on the day of your course or do not turn up we can not issue a refund or move to another date.
